Town of Elma Historical Society
We collect, preserve and exhibit materials pertinent to the social and cultural development of the customs, traditions and lifestyles of rural America with emphasis on the 19th century, especially as relates to the history of the Town of Elma NY.
Visiting the Museum Complex
Hours of Operation
The Elma Historical Society Museum Complex is fully open:
- Sunday May 17th from 1:00-3:00 PM
- From June-August the 1st Sunday of the month from 1:00-3:00 PM
- The last Sunday of the summer we will be open is Sunday September 13th from 1:00-3:00 PM
- From May-September every Thursday from 1:00-3:00 PM
- By appointment

Located in the front of Elma Village Green Park (Western section) and in front of the Elma Senior Center.
Our Historic Buildings
The Hurd House Museum, Hurd & Briggs Mill, and Barn Museum are handicapped accessible.
